Integration in the world of work
Rocky Wüst is a guest on the podcast ‘Geschichten mit Zukunft’ (Stories with a future)
How can companies successfully integrate new employees? What challenges do they face, and what solutions are practical? These questions were the focus of the podcast ‘Geschichten mit Zukunft’ (Stories with a Future) by the Lübeck Business Development Corporation.
Rocky Wüst, member of our management board, spoke with the podcast hosts and Filiz Günsür, Social Smart City Manager of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck, about sustainable integration of skilled workers, digitalisation and corporate culture.
Video: Behind The Scenes
Integration as an opportunity for companies
With employees from 37 nations, diversity is part of everyday life at H. & J. Brüggen KG. Successful integration means breaking down barriers and creating long-term prospects. One example is our digital training system, which enables training in different languages using AI-supported avatars. We also rely on visual support in production to make workflows understandable across languages.
Cultural change and participation
In addition to language and digital solutions, corporate culture is crucial:
- management training to promote diversity
- team events for more exchange and cohesion
- cooperation and networks for better integration in Lübeck
Working together for a strong future
Integration is an ongoing process that challenges companies, cities and institutions alike. Together, structures can be created that integrate skilled workers and strengthen companies in the long term.
