Crispy flakes are produced at Brüggen using the traditional cooking process. The processing of the cereal breakfast flakes also includes rolling, roasting and packaging, as well as optional coating. The convertible flakes can be produced individually depending on the recipe and size.
Multigrain flakes are made from several types of grain. The most common are wholemeal wheat and rice. The diversity of the product means that a wide range of products can be offered, from crispy to fine. The processing steps include cooking, shaping, rolling, roasting and packaging, and optionally coating the products.
Different types of grain such as wheat or rice can be processed for airy puffed cereals. Using heat and pressure, the grains reach many times their original volume. The processing steps include preheating, puffing and packaging, and optionally coating.
The convertible extrudates that Brüggen offers come in a wide variety of shapes (shells, balls, stars, etc.), sizes and flavours. After shaping and packaging, extrudates can also be coated.
In the production of the complex co-extrudates, which are also available in various shapes and flavours, we offer shaping and filling as well as packaging.
