Code of Conduct
The Brüggen Group – a family business with over 150 years of company history – focuses its attention not only on the purchase, production and distribution of safe and food-safe products, but also on compliance with social and environmental standards in its own business area and with direct suppliers.
Our corporate principles, which are set out in our Code of Conduct, form the basis for trusting, constructive and long-term cooperation. Compliance is therefore a cornerstone of our company’s success.
It is important to us that we can continue to ensure that these guidelines are adhered to in the future. We would therefore like to ask for your help. If, for example, you have observed or been informed of violations of human rights, antitrust law, environmental regulations, occupational safety standards or similar, please let us know via our whistleblower system. The information provided will, of course, NEVER be treated as a breach of trust. All reports will be processed with the utmost confidentiality and the whistleblower will receive prompt feedback on the reported incident. This information is important in order to counteract compliance violations at an early stage and, if possible, to avert violations before damage occurs.
We thank you for your help and are grateful for any information.
Human rights policy statement
Acting responsibly is an integral part of our corporate strategy. We see it as a matter of course to respect human rights and prevent human rights violations. This applies to our own business area and – depending on the scope for influence – to our value chain. As part of the Supply Chain Duty of Care Act, we will report publicly on our developments and projects on an annual basis. Under this link you will find the declaration of principles of H. & J. Brüggen KG.
