On September 1, 2024, our annual summer party took place in the garden of the Brüggen Villa. With bright sunshine and a great atmosphere, we welcomed over 1,300 guests who spent a wonderful day together.

The two long-standing successful family companies are pooling their expertise in the production and marketing of oat drinks
On July 3, 2024, the two long-established family companies frischli and Brüggen registered the formation of a joint venture with the Cartel Office. The plan is to establish an independent company that specializes in developing and producing first-class oat drinks, oat drink concentrates and functional oat products, and marketing them specifically in the food retail sector.
Process optimization thanks to AI solutions at Brüggen
In order to further optimize processes and tasks in production in the future, we are increasingly relying on AI in partnership with the Lübeck start-up expandAI (spin-off of the University of Lübeck). We are still at the very beginning and are looking to the future together. 👨💻

In recent years, we have noticed that most (young) people simply don’t know or can’t imagine what a miller does these days: does he/she stand and turn a wheel to make the mill work? Well, Müller:in is not an old-fashioned profession, but requires interest and know-how in high-tech.
